How do I select Local Pickup for my order?

You must select Local Pickup from the country pull down tab either on the first welcome page of the survey or on the shipping page. It will show a shipping charge attached until you do this, then it will go away after selected.

When will the game be released?

Due to unpredictable manufacturing and shipping timelines it is very difficult still to know an exact release date. More info will come as we get closer but I am doing everything in my power to have them to you before Christmas this year.

Where will the local pickup location be?

No exact location yet but there will be multiple locations available in the weeks after release both in the Paradise and Chico area. This will be for a limited time and then pickups will then be available at one if the local retailers.

I already pre-ordered extra items or games on the Paradise-Opoly.com store in addition to my Kickstarter pre-order. Do I need to order those extra items again here?

No. The website is a separate order from Kickstarter/BackerKit add-ons. If you have an order on both they will be shipped together. See FAQ about shipping cost paid on both.

What if I pre-ordered on both Kickstarter and the website and I paid for full price shipping on both?

If you have an order with both platforms, i.e. one game ordered with Kickstarter and one game ordered on the website, and paid full shipping cost for both games to the same address, I will refund the difference you paid over what it should actually cost you to ship them together.

If I already have a pre-order placed with both the Kickstarter and Paradise-Opoly.com store and I still want to add more items is it best to add them here on my BackerKit/Kickstarter order or make another order on the website?

It is definitely better to add more items here on the BackerKit order. Items can not be added to an existing order on the Paradise-Opoly.com store and it would be a whole new order with potential additional shipping charges. Adding them here is the best option.

Do you ship outside of the USA?

As of right now, no. In the future I may be working on getting the certifications needed to sell to the EU and UK as well as Canada and other countries. To keep things simpler for the project initially I have opted to not ship internationally. If you are interested in getting a game but are out of the country please contact [email protected] and we can work something out. If you need your BackerKit/Kickstarter order shipped outside the USA you will need to have the order shipped somewhere in the US and then ship it yourself to its final destination.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
